Death Note 2: The Last Name

After don't-know-how-many-years, I've finally watched this movie. This was another movie that exhausted me a lot! >_< Mainly because of the shiawase punya subtitles. The subtitles are definitely done by the same people that subtitled Win Loon's punya "Coming Soon"(Teach an Elder Brother! Small Cantillate! *pukes**dies*). Let me list down what the subtitlers came up with.

Yagami Raito
Official name - Supernatural Moon in Light
Derivatives - The Moon, Monthly Monarch
Quote by Watari - "This is a Monthly Gentleman of the God at Night" while introducing him to L

Yagami Soiichiro (Moon's daddy)
Official name - Supernatural Chief at Night (So that's where Moon Monarch got his sugoi name from!)

Shiori (Moon Monarch's dead girlfriend)
Official name - Poem Weaves a Young Lady
Derivative - The Poem (Such a poetic name =w=)

Amane Misa
Official name - Call and Fill the Sea and Sand
Derivative - Sea The Sand, Have Filled Sea The Sand (So "beachy"! It suits her!)

L Lawliet
Official name - L (It's really hard to get it wrong leh =_=)
Nickname - Ryuzaki
Official translation - LongQi (Waahhhh suddenly became a Chinese leh)

Ryuk
Official name - Sulphur Gram (Everyone, laugh with me!)

Matsuda
Official name - Loose Mr. Tian (Another Chinese appeared!)

Anchorwoman who became the third Kira (Couldn't catch her name)
Official name - Clear and Beautiful in the High Fields (Waahhhh another poetic name)

Mogi (Officer who got killed in front of SakuraTV company)
Official name - Mould Gentleman of Wood

Kira (saved the best for the last)
Official translation - VERY HAPPY 8DDDDDDDDDDDD

A coupla priceless quotes referring to Kira (Grammatical errors and typos unedited by me):

"That is to say that we are all very happy hostages now" - Original newsanchor who matei

"I am happy that the moon is not very happy" - Supernatural Chief At Night

... LOLOLOLOLOLLLLLLL *roflmaowt****BBQ!!!*

Thank goodness the DVD doesn't belong to me! I pity my cousin who spent on this rubbish. XDDD

Great, now I can never get these sugoi names out of my head! Malaysian pirate subtitlers are the best in the world! *kowtows*
